"Attractive 'Acid' Cycles" is a live A/V composition inspired by fractal mathematics and serial music. I play and experiment with integer sequences, such as the suite A000740 from the encyclopedia
oeis.org. I transform sequence numbers by several manual operations to bring some human expression into the generative serial music process. I play with sequencer, synthesizers, sound fx and sampler in order to blend acid, electronic and experimental-laden sound textures. Audio source and MIDI notes bring movement to this fractal glitchy visual universes through visual-music interface that we are developping in Unity with my crew.
"Attractive 'Acid' Cycles" was played for the first time at the "23rd edition of MUTEK Montreal" during the event "Nocturne 1".
This recording was made during the rehearsal sessions of August 3, 9 and 22 2022.
Using Boss Rev6, Moog DFAM, Pittsburgh Modular Lifeforms, Korg Electribe 2 Sampler and Sequentix Cirklon sequencer.
